Universal AA

Alcoholics Anonymous is based on universal principles of humans caring and reaching out, supporting each other and sharing what they know about recovery.

Although AA was started by Christians, its spirituality transcends all religions and resonates with a deep knowledge that already exists within the human soul.

Universal AA is an attempt to explain the principles of recovery for individuals who have trouble accepting the notion of God in a traditional Christian sense. Although the material here purports to be a faithful following of the Twelve Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous, it is not "Conference Approved" nor does it necessarily reflect the view of AA's Central Office.

"Take what you want and leave the rest."

"Do not believe anything or reject anything without examining it.  Unless you question the things you are told, that knowledge will never become your own!"
